The situation is a frightening one no matter what, and Lenore finds herself all the more skittish considering that she's only newly arrived and uncertain of her place in this world. She falls back on a defense of courtly politeness, keeping her head down and deferring to authority figures with swift obedience, though she is quick to ask additional questions and to offer to help in any way she can. Staying inside is easy, especially during the day. She has nowhere else to go, and she certainly doesn't want to risk being added to the list of missing names--especially as she's unsure whether she's made enough of an impression for anyone to notice her gone. Trying to make sure she's never alone, she seeks out other Summoned for safety and company, and may prove a little hard to get rid of unless you can hand her off to someone else's company.
The activity at the end of the week is a relief to her. She knows that some of her fellow Summoned chafe at the presence of additional guards and restrictions, but Lenore's glad for the protections. Eager to help with adding to the protections, she fetches supplies and books for spells as requested, zooming through the castle with inhuman swiftness but stopping short before any risk of crashing into anyone--though it might be a very, very near thing. Though she's not very experienced with magic at home or here, the magic that she does know how to do from home involves rather a lot of following directions with concentration and precision, so she applies that to following directions from the mages to put up wards.
It's only once Anastasia Rhett arrives that Lenore's panicked survival mode finally clicks over into political survival mode. She's intensely curious about the situation between the siblings, and how much more they might know than what they're revealing. Suddenly, Lenore's route for carrying supplies and books keeps taking her through the hallway outside the shared Rhett office, steps slowing down while she focuses her vampire senses on trying to overhear their conversations. If she manages to cross paths with one or other of the siblings, she absolutely intends to offer help and charm and a carefully measured amount of flattery, and she's sharply on the lookout for opportunities to ingratiate herself with them and other mages and nobles.
