[ Claude hasn't been paying as close of attention to the fellow Summoned here once he'd figured out which of the unfamiliar faces were Summoned with the assumption that if anything else, in an absolute bar minimum of expectations to have, they're not likely to attack each other. A strategy which seems to have worked out well so far, so while he's been contemplating what to do next he's only been idly watching from the corner of his eye as a man next to him conjures objects.
Said objects being he's assuming might not be useful or surely the man would've said something by now, but the agreement even accompanied by the sigh is good enough for Claude to stand up too. Some sort of ball rolls by his feet and he glances at it curiously before looking up to look at each of the items the other man's holding in turn before they disappear into his pockets. Which - alright.
His guess about them not being useful is mostly correct, save for one in particular. ]

[ While still incredulous, Claude makes a point of asking this half formed question quietly with a point to the cup in question to finish it. No need to draw too much attention given the whole starvation situation going on. He leans in a little closer when curiosity gets the better of him even if he should maybe be asking the how here instead. ]
Or, if it's actually some substitute made out of all the mushrooms around here, don't ruin the illusion for me.
