There's not a whole lot of room for tearful embraces. Ciri's a bit impatient, but she isn't heartless; she pauses, biting back a sigh, and gives him a few moments while making sure to keep a hold on him so he doesn't slip and fall and make getting him out a waste of her time.
While she doesn't go so far as to actually hug him back, she is tolerant until he's ready to release her, and politely doesn't mention it. Or his crying.
His thanks is acknowledged with nothing more than a nod.
"We need to climb down. It's steep, and the walls are damp." She's not going to sugar-coat it.
"Go slowly. Make your way for the cluster of roots over there first. Wall looks rougher that way, and the roots will provide handholds."
