"It's possible that a mage who has studied the Abraxan magic would already recognize the symbol of the page of pentacles, if it's used fairly frequently in spells. So if we could communicate enough, they might be able to understand it through the corrupted connection."

She notices the hesitation, and how he's throwing up objections to a plan that seems very well worth trying, with relatively few down sides--either it doesn't work or it really fucks up their enemy's day. It seems unlikely that the sigil would strengthen the intention of the original spell, because then their enemies would probably already be doing that.

It surprises her that someone named Lucifer--the original or not--is so attached to their lost compatriots and so quick to despair over it. She always found the devil to be a very sympathetic figure in the lore, and she can empathize with wanting to be free of the patriarchal strictures of the church and the god who inspired it. But she certainly hadn't expected him to be so influenced by emotional attachments.

In any case, she's not going to let on that she's noticed, and if she can use it to help sway him toward her aims, all the better. At the moment her aims are things like make friends, build a safety network, help people, but she's not going to let a little morality get in her way if she should develop other goals.

"Experimenting seems like it'll be easy enough," she agrees. "We just need a competent enough mage willing to throw this sigil at the other one. And a good target we don't mind blowing up. Well." Given Lucifer's idea of 'fun', she feels she should definitely add a caveat. "A good target that our hosts don't mind us blowing up."
