Jayce is still an idealist in many ways so he had hoped everyone would drop their issues for a short time to get this done, but it's still good to see. And the Summoned have been far from idle. They've been running all over the continent searching for any clues. It would be inspirational if it wasn't coming from such desperation.
Jayce knows that it wouldn't be Viktor's favorite idea, but he's not exactly asking permission either. He figures the differences between this and the Hextech gauntlets she took would make the difference. Not that he would make something that would make Viktor mad at him, but more that he has confidence it will be within reasonable perimeters.
"I told her that anything too advanced or visibly dangerous will just get the Free Cities military attention and I don't want that attention. So it has to be subtle. I was thinking advanced type of gloves, but not large ones, average type of sized gloves for the hand that are reinstated with metal and spells. A boost of strength and cushioning for the fingers so no chance of breaking them. Maybe an electrical component that acts similar to a taser, but nothing fatal."
So it can startle or knock people back, but there is no reason it has to be fatal. Jayce shrugs. "I'm still troubleshooting in my head. It's not going to help her against monsters, but against people. She'll have to learn to use a normal weapon if she wants to fight more dangerous things." Which he can provide her too.
"Whatever opinions we have of her, I saw for myself that Vi doesn't go for fatalities when she could do a knock out. She's no better or worse than our friends here."
