Caitlyn's been more focused on the more immediate worries. She's mindful of the future ones, but determined pretty quickly that they have to actually get to the future in order to even have anything to worry about. But since there's a pretty even division of people focusing on different areas, she figures that's for the best.

Once he's finally free, she's all too happy to follow him away from the wall and, hopefully, any more viney complications.

"Oh I don't know." This is where there's spice in with her sugar. Behavior that doesn't quite match the Good Girl image most people associate with Caitlyn. "It might be oddly satisfying. Eating something that tried to eat us." How she'll actually feel once they're out of here is another matter.

"I certainly seems to defy logic." Caitlyn looks around them, eyes wishing she could see some sort of hint or clue they'd managed to overlook. "Or is our survival part of what they're after? Some twisted test of worthiness?" It's just a theory, but it's better than nothing. Because what other reason was there for kidnapping people and then leaving them like this.
