For one, leaning against Shepard is warm. For another, his crest would smack her in the face. Though, he does reach up with his other hand to brush a glob of drying blue off his mandible.

That's all they have right now. They've got to force themselves to go on. They're the soldiers. They're the ones who came back from a suicide mission alive. "Then again... you can't really get much worse than the Collector base... but these freaks sure are trying."
