[Kell nods. He's closer to the second from the pair anyway. It's very obvious now that the Acolytes pay them no mind. They wouldn't have turned their backs to them otherwise. Both are busy with the enchantment, hands raised, focused but relaxed. If they suspected anything, now would be the best moment to turn back and stop them. But they don't. They suspect nothing.
He shots last glance at Jayden. If they time it right, at least one of them should succeed. He jumps pushing the hooded figure before him forward. The Acolyte crashes into the stone wall, raised arms colliding with the hard surface first, the man yelps. He manages to turn around half way to face Kell. Kell's response is pure panic-fuelled instinct. The magic does not work, not as it should, the Acolyte's bones fail to turn to dust, but the man drops down to his knees like someone stabbed from every direction. Something must have worked. Kell doesn't have time to celebrate, he grabs the top of the man's hood dragging it down, revealing a a very human head of brown curls with the mask firmly in place. Now is his chance.
He pulls on the mask with both hands, it goes off with a squelching sound revealing the face behind it. Kell's eyes go wide at the sight, he almost drops the cursed thing in shock.]
Pils!Kers la?
[He didn't notice he just switched to his native Arnesian. The face behind the mask looks human...but his eyes... the eyes. This is precisely moment when they should run. But he can't. He can't move. He can only stare.]
