"A wolf?" Hilda realizes how silly it sounds parroting back what Nadine has said to her but she's technically trying to wrap her mind around being told that the woman in front of her can magically turn into a wolf. It shouldn't be too farfetched of a reality to wrap her mind around; she had gotten used to the idea of werewolves and vampires being real fairly quickly after all.
