[ Much like before - this time when Claude opens his eyes, Sylvain isn't there. Any relief at the fever that'd swept through him is toned down in the wake of a flash of panic. Is there another part to the ritual? How could he have fallen asleep and let him disappear again after saying he wouldn't? Even if his mind's temporarily cleared of delirium, everything still aches when Claude moves. It's not enough to keep him in place or dissuade him from the mission his mind's hastily put together of finding Sylvain.
It won't be far to go, as it turns out, since when he starts to scan his surroundings: there's Sylvain curled up. That sight has him immediately crawling over to place a hand on the other's cheek to get his attention, if it's even possible. How warm that skin beneath his hand feels and the shivering going on with it aren't good signs. ]

A glance around at the ground next since he'd forgotten about the waterskin in his lap. It'd tumbled to the ground but thankfully was still shut meaning there's a reassuring slosh inside when he picks it up. One more appraising look at the curled form on the ground, and on second thought he lets go of the other man to open it, pour a bit of water into his palm, and then wet his thumb before carefully dabbing it on to the other's mouth as a precursor for an actual drink next and in hopes of soothing some of those splits. ]
