Perhaps. There is a long history in the lands and why access is so restricted. The Elves played a part in that, long before my time. But I do not mean to paint Middle Earth so dire a picture. There is beauty and wonder here and we would not part with it so quickly, even for all the ills that could befall us.

We have a duty still, to aid those who have none. To more than just the elves, but to all people.
