Sylvain's found himself wondering if there is really a world where people like them are treated 'better'. His world would claim to be one of them, and in some cases he supposes that would be true. But that didn't keep so many of them from being treated as commodities. Possessions. Tools to be wielded and used. Bartered away, for power or riches or titles. The cage was prettier, but that didn't make it any less a cage. Although he's sure some would call him a little biased - they wouldn't be all that wrong, either.
"I don't know." He glances around them with a small frown, his gaze taking in their surroundings. "They haven't given a whole lot of hints on what they might be after. The shrines are creepy and what few messages I got from back in Cadens seemed to hint there were ties to Solvunn. Who do have a thing for creepy gods, apparently. Maybe they think that our connection to the Singularity will be a benefit they can exploit. But as for us specifically? I don't know. I just know some of the people they took... it's impressive they got them here at all."
He still doesn't understand how anyone could overpower Steve. He'd seen that guy pick up half a building in Libertas.
