assembles: (look at that wholesome face)

Steve nods, not seeing the need to explain too much about the Avengers right now. Istredd can ask for more details if he wants, but he knows enough — that they all worked together back home and have experience with coordination on this level.

Nero has also voiced his opinion that Solvunn is behind this, and Steve can't help but agree. The question is how they were then able to take people from every faction. It seems like no matter how they look at it, the amount of resources needed for this is monumental.

The remark about the gods holding the true power unsettles him, but Steve can't protest it either. "If only people knew how to leave well enough alone," he mumbles with a shake of his head. Though it's not like it's any different from what he's seen before, with the likes of Red Skull, Ultron, Thanos, and so on. If there's a power that can be tapped into, greedy men will take it.

He makes a mental note of the three names. "All you can do is try to be for them as we navigate this, but kids tend to be sturdier than you'd think." He's thinking of Peter, who should have never been dragged into their world but had ended up there anyway. "And yeah, sometimes despite your best intentions a role gets handed to you. It means you can't just look the other way, right? I wouldn't say that's a bad thing. And you won't be doing it alone either."

All of the adults should be looking out for those kids, as far as he's concerned.
