[ Steve has heard a lot of crazy things in his life that have turned out to be true, but in this case he knows that Wilhelm's brain is probably boiling with fever and that he's no longer anywhere near rational. It's hard to calm down someone like that, and Steve doesn't want to have to resort to any drastic measures.

Not with a kid who probably can't do too much damage so long as they keep an eye on him. ]

I'm listening. But... they also exposed all of us to something. We don't really know what it was. Which means we can't take the things we're seeing and hearing and feeling for granted.

[ There's a pause as he glances over Wilhelm's shoulder to where the man he attacked is recovering a distance away, massaging at areas where he was bruised by their brief scuffle.

And then he refocuses on Wilhelm, his jaw set. ]

Either way, I think it's safe to say that turning on each other isn't the answer.
