[ It's a good question, and one for which Thancred doesn't have a satisfying answer. He heaves out a sigh, but when it looks like the device is whirring back into its usual rotation with no real issue, he yet again finds it odd that nothing worse was done to it. ]

Nothing about this area particularly stands out to me, but I'll carry out a more careful search if only to see if there's aught else out of the ordinary beyond these tracks.
