[ Much like how the Summoned trapped in the pit didn't want to see another mushroom again in their lives, Hilda could similarly say that she felt the same about snow and the mountains. Okay, maybe that's her being dramatic — but she can say with certainty that she doesn't plan on vacationing in the alpines any time soon. If the last two weeks hadn't been enough to completely unhinge her, several days of searching for escapees in the mountains in the snow, fighting off the various wildlife and accidentally hitting someone with an axe would probably do it.

But there's finally hope. It's the same hope that had been woven through the tents and tables in Oleuni Square. The same hope that's been carrying them through the last two weeks as everyone left behind searched and waited on baited breath for news of the people they cared about. Despite everything they had all collectively gone through, Sylvain and Claude were within reach and Hilda and Petra would be damned if anything stopped them from bringing them home.

Navigating the mountains is considerably easier now that messages are clear. And while neither of the boys had Viktor's trackers making the receiver that Hilda had received from him no help here, she had something that was arguably the next best thing: Petra. Even Petra couldn't have saved them from the boy's directions and their useless "landmarks". Hilda's crankiness can probably be attributed to her exhausted, but anxious, desire to get them back through the portal and seen to properly by one of the healers. It definitely has less to do with the fact that her socks are soaked through and her entire body aches from several days of mountaineering chaos.

Sylvain's red hair is a beacon against the white snow and Hilda lets out a noise, tugging on Petra's arm as she all but rushes towards them. Instead of reaching out to the red head for a hug though she punches him directly in the arm. ]

Your directions suck! You're officially never allowed to say that, "We're by a cluster of trees. One of them has Setheth's lecturing expression on it!" because literally all of them look like that.

[ Her chest heaves from the brief run, perhaps as a way to dramatize her anger, but the glimmer of something else in her eyes says that she isn't all that annoyed. Not really. ]
