The Singularity feels heavy and content in her head, like a dog falling asleep on its master's lap after a long day of hunting. It's the first time in weeks that she is not filled with its massive panic and fear and pain. It's the first time since the beginning that she actually feels any kind of calm, despite the circumstances.
Absently, she runs her hand along his arm, lets her palm rest flat against one of the bizarre lesions. Maybe it'll help, she doesn't know. ]
