( When Istredd told Kell to make sure the others got out and decided to stay behind, he thought that it would be giving all of them the better end of the stick. The holdouts thought it much more likely they were going to die, and when the team came to get them, they still nearly did that. But it was alarming to find out he sent them out into an even more dangerous situation. There really was no easy route for any of them anymore.
Istredd was injured during the escape and lost some amount of blood, and while that injury is healed, his entire body is still in pain. But he still never lived through the ritual, his mind only temporarily insane twice when attempting to cure others. Instead of sitting in a room and licking his wounds, as soon as it seemed possible, he pushed out of bed and went stumbling around the hospital looking for the others.
He finds Jack not that long after and he has a little crutch at the moment to take some of the pressure off him. Istredd has already attempted to interact with Lucifer a few times but it ended up pointless, so this seemed more worth it. )
