( It's true that Jack has never really been okay since years before he showed up here, but in terms of psychological damage, he'll bounce back easier than most people might. Don't mistake that for a sign of mental health — very much the opposite. It's that he's been so absolutely desensitized to trauma, chaos, and brain-breaking insanity, he just kind of... internalizes it and skips the processing part entirely. It is what it is. Another set of scars, another maddening experience to shrug off and put into his Try And Forget box.
