In the absolute chaos of evacuation, Alucard has not had the luxury of time to find his friend. There has simply been too much to attend to, things to hold back or force into place, and the ever present seawater has made everything worse.

It is with great guilt that he circles the room, only now being able to look for his friend. But his ears catch Lenore's voice and the question it carries.

He's beside them both in an instant, the relief plain on his face. Not that Alucard has ever done subtle. There's the deep compulsion to hug Gideon close, but the angle would be too odd with Lenore carrying her. It also feels rude to smear the blood one is covered in on someone else without their permission.

Instead, he takes Gideon's nearest hand into both of his, squeezing. Confirming that this is all real and happening.

"Head to the right, that's the evacuation route. It's going to involve more water, it seems."
