( Because Matt is injured and also Jayce is a giant and doesn't know his own strength half the time. He's also just trying to amuse him since this is a highly tense situation and he's been through so much already. He would scoop Matt right off the ground if he did pass out, but this is easier.)

( Jayce takes Matt's hand within his and seconds later Matt will feel warmth pour between their fingers as he taps into his healing. He can't actually fix Matt's general issues, they've explained the infection, but what Jayce is particularly good at is pain management. He's basically a walking pain relief healer when need be.)
