Blake only perceives a light amount of judgement in Viktor's assessment and it's easily forgiven for its proximity to the truth; e's been told to take it easy, but not expressly forbidden from leaving. Living in this hazy gray area that suits him just fine for these purposes.
"Ah, y'know," he says, unhelpfully. It's certainly not the best shape he's been in, although he is finally beginning to no longer smell the blood and the grime, and being clean again is something approaching pathetically blissful. But beyond the generally straightforward demeanor he presents there lurks plenty of things unsaid, things Blake isn't sure he can relive even to share.
Falling in line, he intends to go at Viktor's pace in whatever direction he's heading. It helps to have someone else close — fewer shadows lurking on his periphery — but Blake tells himself his interest is much more suited towards answers at the moment than the comfort of company.
"What've you found out?" He had tried to get some answers, but any time he'd ask, one of the nurses would encourage him to worry about it later. Stagnation now could mean consequences down the line; later doesn't sit right with Blake.
