The good news is that Viktor is not at all worried about getting back to his tasks, not when Jayce is here and needs him. At this point, everything else can wait, because this is his priority. It's in both of their natures, to try and fight it all down and be productive instead, but Jayce is in pain right now, and it's his job not to rush him back into the fray. He knows he must still be worried sick over Caitlyn, and the powerlessness of it all is too much to bear.

But neither of them have to do it alone. That's the important part.

Viktor helps brush the tears from his eyes too, hands lingering against his face, but if Jayce still needs to cry that he certainly won't stop him. It seems hasty, to move right to talking about a funeral, especially when it should be the family's choice, but he understands on some level that this is just Jayce working through everything.

"You can have a funeral without a body. You can do whatever you need." Especially in circumstances like this. It's good, that they've brought in some of the acolytes because it means that maybe they can get some answers, but all Viktor really cares about right now is that Jayce is safe. "There will be time for all of this soon. Stay here with me."
