Altaïr is largely just fine. These particular Acolytes scarcely had time to harm them at all. His perception of time has sped back up and it strikes him how quickly this fight started and ended. It can't have taken more than a minute or two.
"Nothing more than bruises," he says, watching Claude with muted concern as the man collects himself. Altaïr isn't so strong that a short but intense fight saps no energy, but he's undoubtedly in better shape than any of the Summoned who were taken. He's only gleaned some details of what they went through, but he's certain of one thing — it was bad. "I may feel it more later, but there's nothing to worry about now."
Not when there's much more to worry about in the immediate future. There's no telling how many Acolytes may continue to pursue their former captives, not to mention other dangers of the mountains and the inhospitable climate itself.
"If we come across them, I'm sure we can forestall any violence in favor of getting everyone away from here."
Privately, he's skeptical; this Acolyte may simply have learned that it's a poor choice to lend her allegiance to those without scruples, not truly regretted her part in the mass kidnapping. But Altaïr doesn't mistrust Claude's assessment, and vengeance can wait if it's to occur at all.
Stepping forward, he starts to extend his free hand for the sword before hesitating. "Keep that for now, if you wish. Until we leave the mountains. I'm armed enough."
