He's never calling Thorne anything resembling home. It doesn't matter if her words about why are accurate. Lucifer hasn't had a home since Heaven and he's unlikely to give that label to anywhere else, certainly not somewhere he feels he can hardly breathe most days. It's the greatest balm the Horizon can offer him.

But he does long for his bed and the wards his room with Istredd can provide. The safety he really needs in order to truly rest.

"That'll be nice," he agrees. "And just slip away into the library for awhile." He very much needs to be antisocial for awhile.
