Kell keeps telling himself that he did not reach out to Rhy the first moment he woke up in Nocwich makeshift hospital because he didn't want to risk distracting him from the rescue mission. Truth is a lot more selfish, and even a little vain... he looks awful, he feels even worse. He didn't want Rhy to see him in such sorry state. The healers have enough work without his silly requests, and Kell would die of shame if he had to ask Kyle to shave him. A least nobody was cruel enough to show him a mirror. It might be sign of getting better that he fixates on such isignificant details, or trying just to distract himself from pain.

The moment he learns that the rescue team came back, with tales of their own adventures no less, all that stops mattering. He just wants to see Rhy. If he was able to walk, he'd run to meet him this very moment. He's not, all he can do is to send Rhy a message where he is. Please come see him, he can't stand waiting any longer.
