[ It's not so much that Hilda doesn't want to talk about it or that she meant to bring it up in the first place; in fact, when she speaks to it there's a neutrality to her voice that gives the impression of someone who has long since become used to their situation. Jayden had simply posed the question and she had been inclined to answer, approaching his next question with a similar cadence. But having the worm toy to focus on certainly helps.
