It's too fresh, even if days have become unpredictable. He wants to understand what's going on. He's since gotten his own relief in the Horizon when he was able to meet Alucard for the second time. He had been surprised the other let him stay for the time he did, but he supposes there were similarities there that might have aided a curiosity. He can see the young vampire is trying. Far different than the vampires he knows personally.

There's another bout of silence between them before he responds.

"I'm sorry." He probably does not need to apologize, but he does. Louis is new to the Summoned, but he got the gist that Inej and Castiel might have known one another before pit. The news of others arriving does catch his attention. There's a pang in his chest, one that can't help but wonder if he'll see a blond haired frenchman among them. He can't hope, he won't.
