[ Jesper is very tall so for Sam to have an inch on him, it says a lot about how he towers over most people. Somehow despite his height though Sam is pretty unassuming, he can see how he wouldn't be on everyone's map right away. Jesper only recently became friendly with him but now he feels an obligation to protect him, to help him, as Dean would have wanted. They did have an Aquila adventure together, maybe that is why Sam reached out to him for emotional support. ]
