"Blake." His name from her lips carries such gentle care and concern. She put down her tool, to gather both his hands into hers. Shamefully, she hadn't even thought twice about what sort of fears people may have about the Horizon. But then again, she'd had someone she had trusted implicitly to guide her there, to ensure that no matter what happened, she'd be safe.
She's touched that Blake feels comfortable enough to tell her what's really been troubling him. But in the same breath, she worries that she hasn't done enough to be there for him. A part of her wants to ask him what he doesn't want to relive, but he's already been through so much. What use is dredging up things from his past to add to that unless he wanted to?
Reassuringly, she continues. "Nobody I know remembers anything from their first visit, if that helps. If anything awful happened, you won't have to remember it." There's another brief pause. "I can come with you if you want, you know. I'll take care of you."
