He doesn't know anything about her other than the briefness they shared, but he had gathered she was religious. Louis had been at some point in his life, but then that changed drastically. He glances over.

"My people have been made to feel as if they had to say it. What do they say instead? Yours?" Although he has his qualms about how much he's been harmed by religion, there's part of him that deeply down finds he can't let go of it, at least not the parts that make his guilt prominent. He needs a way to keep himself in check. It's complicated, but he'll respect other's belief if it won't harm anyone.

"I'm too new to know anything of the Horizon, but it was comforting to go there. It wasn't your fault or mine what occurred back there. The circumstances took our choice away." Louis isn't a fan of having his choice being taken away, but he's too tired, and getting angry about it won't do anyone good. All he can do is to continue to survive, to get back to... He has a purpose to get back.
