Inej is a light sleeper and the knocks rouse her easily, squinting against wakefulness as her eyes sweep toward her newest visitor.

"Yes," she says almost immediately upon realizing who that visitor is. "Michael, of course." She pushes herself up to a bit more of a proper sitting position as he closes the door.
