[ Through everything else, including the Singularity's constant presence, she has been concerned. Extremely concerned, worried even, but still calm and mostly in control of herself. It's only this discussion, the vision of her fortune, that changes her demeanor; she now has a palpable fear around her, making her seem smaller. As if she could avoid the fate by just being invisible enough.

She doesn't mean to. If there's anything Julie hates, it's weakness, and she was already feeling vulnerable from actually confessing love. But the vividness of the lightning burn she'd felt when Wanda found the vision. It was like experiencing the whole thing over again. And it's never really been a secret that she is terrified of storms -- on the infrequent occasion that there is a thunderstorm in Cadens, she won't go outside, she sticks like glue to whoever she can wrangle. The fact that she is somehow inexorably linked to the thing she is so afraid of is what's truly breeching the armor. That she cannot escape it. That she is apparently doomed to it.
