I'm sure there are other people that can pay attention to you, Claude.
[ There's no bite to her words as she rolls her eyes. It's all joking and lightness because why would there be any sharp edges? Except when he reaches his arms out over the back of the seat close enough to brush her shoulder, she finds that she doesn't lean back immediately. There's a hesitation in her body language as Hilda pauses to think about it. As if leaning back into his shoulder runs the risk of ruining the resolve that she's stubbornly built since they had kissed. Eventually she does though, crossing her arms across her chest to pass him a sidelong glance. ]

Before she can offer another suggestion it's apparent that Claude has noticed the dainty lantern lying on the table. Inwardly she groans. What else did she expect? It was out in the open after all. Any larger of a reaction to snatch it from his grasp or cover it up would definitely arouse suspicion. After a beat of quick thinking she opts for the cool, calm, collected half truth Hilda response instead. A hum preambles her response as she motions for him that it's okay to pick it up. ]
It's less project and more silly crafting. Anything that looks gold is just gold plated brass because I'm not sure about some parts of the design yet and I didn't want to splurge on the more expensive materials. The crystal is real though.
[ If Claude takes a closer look however there's some chalk etchings on the head of the lantern that look designs she has yet to add. In reality they're enchantment runes with her own flair - a detail she's purposefully left out. ]
