"It was like..." He closes his eyes, eyebrows pinching together as he assembles the image from his memory. It's easier to talk about this than all those wounds that never seem to heal right. "A broken tower, but also the head of a giant statue? It had a face carved into it, and all these vines growing over it. It wasn't really there, it was like a hallucination or something. The first time I saw it, it was only there for a few seconds."
Wilhelm probably wouldn't remember much about what it looked like, if Wanda hadn't asked him to draw it for her.
"But this time, it came in slowly, so I could get a better look. There was someone there, too. I couldn't see him clearly, though. He had, like, shadows around him."
He looks at Kyle as a student to his teacher, hoping he can make more sense of it.
