Once he seems to be more or less settled there, he finally scoots back, heaving out a sigh. "Yeah, I'll make sure to tell you the whole story another time." Because they are getting through this. "For now, try and get some rest." He gives Istredd a brief pat on the shoulder, then pushes himself to his feet.
There's more work to be done. Searching the ritual room, sending out a message to Nat, figuring out what their food and water situation is — but at least he's stabilized Istredd.
