Istredd smiles because he appreciates that Lucifer is already expressing something. Requesting a physical space that will make him more comfortable is communicating, and then also reassures Istredd he doesn't want him to leave. "Yes, of course." He runs his fingers through Lucifer's hair again and then sits on his bed next to him. He pushes back until his back is to the wall and tugs him lightly to do the same. Best way to feel comfortable while they go into the Horizon.

He hasn't been back to Lucifer's domain since he tried while in the pit and only managed to see the snake and the little piece of refuge that Lucifer put there. He lay in it for a few minutes, hoping it would make him feel closer to Lucifer, but it only made him feel more lonely.

Istredd appears directly into Lucifer's domain only seconds later. He looks like his old self in here, since it is about he sees himself usually. He doesn't look as thin and pale, his scars long gone, no pain in his side. Honestly the wide open space helps him too. He has been cramped and closed in for weeks, unable to see anything outside of the dark and the closely controlled space.

He has some hope now. Lucifer hasn't rejected him or his wishes yet. It would be a surprise but a welcome one if he actually got what he wanted for once.
