She's already feeling that big, warm sweep of overwhelm all over again even before she finds the journal at the bottom-- after taking out each of the other items with a carefulness and reverence which is entirely uncalled for. She reads the inscription, and immediately some of the hot, tight tension in her breaks around a laugh. Still, the aqueous quality of her eyes as she turns to swat her friend playfully on the arm is something of a giveaway.]
