It's a little eerie, how neither of them make much sound as they cross the long hallway; she's had years of practice sneaking about Drearburh whilst evading detection, and this guy? His movements aren't anything anyone would call graceful, but he's quiet. Imagining how he must move through water almost gives her the shivers.

"Yeah?" she turns her head just briefly, giving him a more overt appraisal, "man, that's pretty badass. Starfish eating people's faces sounds totally gross and bad. Yuck. Did it at least taste good when you ate it?"

Perhaps a more pertinent question may have been whether a starfish is a fish shaped like a star, or a fish that somehow lives in space. Both sound weird as hell to her, but she doesn't want to come off like a total moron.
