And then there's the Leicester Alliance, where Hilda's from, off to the east and they refused to bow to any king or emperor. Instead, they work as a confederacy of sorts, the lords jointly ruling the territories within their borders.
Needless to say, each of the three nations have very distinct ways of doing things, so the rivalry springs up more from that than anything. Honestly, coming here and dealing with all the politics and conflicts between the Factions has been very familiar for all of us.
