[ Relena lacks a healthy cautiousness about most people. It's not that she's inherently trusting. No, quite the opposite. She is so used to having many of the people she's met be people out to eliminate her or use her for their gain. That expectation has somehow made her more bold in how she acts towards others, so there is no hesitation when she follows him. Who knows what he might know? And besides that, she'd like to make healthy connections here. If they were all trapped, they should rely on each other to whatever extent each person was willing to rely on strangers.

The bones under her feet do briefly cause alarm, though, as he brow furrows and a small frown sets in. That... is new.

She nods in thanks to him as she follows him into the keep, grateful for a way out of the cold. ]

I was told that they nearly took it from me. I was also warned that broken link would put me in dire straits. I'm not sure how true it is, but after how I felt following that whole affair, I don't have much reason to doubt it.

I guess I just want to make sure, for now, that it's really back to the way it was.
