[Marianne is not the sort to gussy up for occasions like this, but she's been convinced to by a certain friend to dress up and go all out tonight. Her blue gown is floral with a daring neckline, although some of the details are obscured by the golden shawl that covers her shoulders throughout the night. Florally-decorated shoes and a wavy half-up hairstyle complete her ensemble.
As luck would have it (and by design, given the reasons for the random drawing in the first place), Marianne is not seated near anyone she knows. Suppressing the instinct to keep her head down and not socialize, she makes it a point to smile and greet those seated around her. Her approach is a touch timid, but earnest.]
Um. It's very nice to meet you. My name is Marianne.
[After dinner, she mostly sticks to the outskirts of the action, much more of a wallflower type than a dancer. She'll dance with people if asked to, and is decently competent at it thanks to her noble upbringing. She also spends some time watching the performances, impressed by the talent and passion on display.
As the festivities come to a close for the night, Marianne is more sober than many--she had a glass of wine with dinner, but has not taken advantage of the open bar since. As such, she feels compelled to help fellow Summoned back to the inn. If someone looks especially drunk, or is simply walking alone and vulnerable, Marianne will approach.]
Do you need anything? We can walk together for a bit, if you'd like.
