It's a strange relationship that's formed. One that makes little sense. At some point Kahlil stopped thinking about the most efficient way to kill an angel, and just prayed that it would never come to that - not solely out of self-preservation and fear of what a berserk Lucifer might look like, but because he would feel guilty making the attempt on his life at all.
In any case, pity is the last thing he wants, from anyone. His pride won't let him tolerate it when he's sober, and he's definitely not tonight. When Lucifer makes strange, awkward moves, Kahlil's body goes tense and he nearly trips over his partner's feet. Definitely steps on one deliberately on the first abrupt turn - and after that he allows himself to be led - but he won't look like a ragdoll being dragged around. Instead, with a hand on his shoulder and the other one clasped Kahlil matches his off-kilter and dramatic rhythm as best he can manage - which is better than the average person, given his agility and reflexes. He is (possibly annoyingly) compliant, even as they grab the attention of everyone around them.
Eye contact is another story. He's managing to look at everyone and no one except his partner.
