Steve isn’t holding up so well, and Eddie only managed to drag him out to these festivities with the empty promise that it might help him to feel a bit better. A fool’s hope, more than anything, because he’s pretty sure the grim reason for celebration is only making things worse, and he vaguely wonders is Louis is feeling the same way, only here out of obligation to the settlement or to someone else. ]
