He thinks Kyle has to spill blood--his own?--to do whatever his teleport ability is, but he isn't certain, and he doesn't know the full range he has, or if Lucifer could track it.
If he even would put in the effort to chase him down.
But if the wine might very well be talking, the last thing Kyle needs is to make a continued miserable companion out of it for the rest of the night.
