Although no year of high school was going to be a great answer, that's one of the worse ones. Jayden doesn't particularly care that she's drinking--he drank occasionally when he was her age too--but someone who's barely a teenager ending up in another world and then basically being left to fend for themselves is worrying in so many ways.

But it's also very clear she's in one of the many rebellious phases that goes with those years, so he's not going to comment on any of that, at least not directly. He also ignores both the drinking and the salute, at least aside from taking a sip of his own drink as well.
