Sabine nods a little; no flicker of surprise spawned at Kyle's admission. That part is going true wherever Jack goes, whatever he does, because it boils down to what Jack shouldn't be, is, and will ever be. It's all her relief that she can be near him through it again. Do what she's meant to do and wants to do, with all her heart and soul: love him, watch over him.
"Well, it's a good thing he has two of us, then."
Sabine says with the ring of already untestable, unquestioning fact.
Then. Amends it the second later. "Three, if Jerry manages his way here, or us there, or all three of us somewhere else entirely eventually." There's an acquessing tipping her head sideways that easily admits that it isn't set or settled or hers alone to decide. "You know, if."
This place is still full of so much she doesn't know, and so much uncertainty for those who've been here well over a year. Sabine already understands there's much that can't be planned or predicted.
