It's easy to slide his hand forward right into Jesper's grip. He appreciates that Jesper is willing to take things at Wylan's pace and that he's being perfectly respectful about not pushing. But he also can't just buy him a flute and then be adorable and not expect Wylan to want to hold his hand. Wylan also gets that he's probably going to have to be the one that makes the first move.

"Special clothes?" He asks curiously. It's probably going to take him a while to get used to this whole receiving gifts thing.

His attention catches on the statue Jesper points out, wanting to stop and examine it for a moment, his eyes flick over it, following the lines and the way the metal melts from scraps into feet. "It's amazing what some people can do. It looks almost Grisha made."
