But as for the Hanged Man... In my world, portrayed upright, it represents viewing your world from another perspective. The man's not actually being hanged as punishment, but hanging by his foot out of his own choice. It means pausing to reflect; taking time for enlightenment.

Reversed, and it's the opposite. Indecision, or an unwanted pause. Delaying yourself from what actually needs your attention.
