[ Fashionable or not, Julie rarely interacts with natives by choice. When you're part of a miniscule minority that generally congregates in the same few places, it's not hard to keep track of who else is part of the group. She regards nearly all non-Summoned as the same faceless mass, and she doesn't have much interest in them. She's polite and friendly enough with them, but she did her time as a barmaid back in Nott, and she's not a fan of the way the natives often interact with the Summoned. Especially the female Summoned.

For Julie, a white woman from the rural American Midwest, it has certainly been an eye-opening few years.

All of which is to say, when she looks up at the woman speaking, Julie has a expression of distinct wariness. A sense that she is already mildly the dreading the interaction. ]

Grows that way. Head to toe.

[ Her tone is slightly strained, falsely cheerful. She doesn't clarify that it's only been the case for about eight months -- her hair used to be dyed this shade, first chemically, then magically, once she was summoned. It was the first spell she learned, out of sheer necessity both because she was on the run and also because her roots were becoming unbearable. Then, after she returned from being trapped between alternate planes of existence (long story), she realized that it was actually growing in pink, including her eyebrows, lashes and body hair. She has to dye her brows and lashes back to dark brown.

She looks away again, returning her attention to a pair of earrings she's holding. ]
